DO YOU NEED
CUSTOM ORTHOTICS?

ARE YOU HAVING PAIN IN YOUR FEET?

The answer may be as simple as coming to see

a Podiatrist to have your feet examined.

Incorrect posture or walking patterns can cause all sorts of problems with your feet. We can offer a state of the art computerised scan of your feet and a professional assessment of any problems you may be experiencing. We can provide the best advice on how to correct them. A computerised gait assessment allows your Podiatrist to determine if your feet are having a negative impact on the way you stand, walk, run and move.

The assessment will include a physical exam of your lower limbs followed by a GaitScan Computerised Analysis. A report will be generated by the GaitScan software that will then be analysed and used to make a diagnosis.

Your feet put up with a lot. Why not treat them by getting

them checked and making their life and yours a lot more

comfortable.

HOW CAN CUSTOM ORTHOTICS HELP?

Custom orthotics play an important role in reducing stress and strain on the obey by restoring a natural balance through healthy movement patterns. With regular use, custom orthotics will allow you to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. Even though they will last for many years, we recommend a comprehensive gait assessment every one to two years to ensure that the custom orthotic continues to meet your changing needs.

WHY IS A GAITSCAN ANALYSIS SO IMPORTANT?

Your foot is in contact with the ground for less than one second, making it nearly impossible to determine abnormal foot function with the naked eye. This is why your Podiatrist has chosen to use a GaitScan as part of a comprehensive gait analysis. This cutting edge technology will provide critical information to determine if you will benefit from a custom orthotic.

Custom prescription orthotics are the benchmark in correcting  your foot problems. However, temporary/ non-prescription devices  may relieve your symptoms and can be a more cost effective option.

If you answered "YES" to any of the above, you may benefit from the use of custom orthotics. Ask your Podiatrist for a comprehensive assessment today!
